Day 9 official research summary
Kakobuy's official buying guide explains that buyers can start an order in three main ways: paste a product link from a Chinese ecommerce platform, upload a product image, or search by product name and select recommended products. It also says product-info search currently supports 1688, Taobao, Tmall and JD.
The important detail for spreadsheet shoppers is the exception list. Kakobuy's guide says Weidian, WeChat sellers, Xianyu, Yupoo and similar sources should be handled through the Looking for Goods or manual purchase-order workflow. That makes manual ordering a real SEO topic, because many buyers find products in spreadsheets or seller albums before they understand how to submit a clean order.
Which sources can be searched directly
For Taobao, Tmall, JD and 1688, the cleanest workflow is usually to paste the product detail URL into Kakobuy, then check that the product title, price, options, color, size, stock and seller shipping details are imported correctly. If the link imports cleanly, the buyer can select the variation and submit the cart or purchase order.
For image-based discovery, Kakobuy's guide also supports uploading product images. This can help when a buyer has a screenshot, catalog image, QC photo reference, or product picture but not a clean seller link. It should still be treated as a starting point. After matching a product, compare seller photos, options, price and available sizes before paying.
When to use a manual order form
Use a manual order when the product source cannot be imported correctly or when the seller platform is not part of Kakobuy's direct product-info search. The official guide specifically points buyers toward manual handling for Weidian, WeChat seller, Xianyu, Yupoo and similar sources.
A strong manual order should include the product URL or seller contact path, product name, selected color, selected size, version, quantity, item price, domestic China shipping note, seller remarks, and screenshots if the option is easy to misunderstand. Do not assume the purchaser can infer the right version from a vague spreadsheet title.
1688 minimum quantity and option risk
Kakobuy's buying guide warns that 1688 may have a minimum purchase quantity requirement. That matters for buyers who only want one piece from a spreadsheet find. Before paying, check whether the seller requires two or more units, whether mixed colors are allowed, and whether domestic shipping changes with quantity.
Option risk is also higher on manual orders because the variation selector may not be imported automatically. If a product has multiple batches, colors, sizes, plug types, materials, packages or add-ons, write the selected option clearly. For shoes, include EU or US size and seller size if both are shown. For clothing, include color, size, and any version label shown by the seller.
What happens after payment
The official buying guide says that after domestic payment is completed, Kakobuy normally reviews the order within 3 to 5 working hours. After the order is approved, Kakobuy purchases the item and waits for the merchant to ship it to the warehouse. The guide describes the domestic logistics cycle as generally 3 to 5 days.
If the purchaser needs clarification, the official workflow points users to Member Center, My Orders, and Message. This is the right place to leave extra requirements after ordering, such as asking the purchaser to confirm a size, avoid a wrong color, check whether the seller accepts returns, or confirm domestic shipping before purchase.
QC and warehouse checks before international shipping
After the item reaches the Kakobuy warehouse, the official guide says Kakobuy takes photos, reports product problems, and helps solve them. Buyers should review warehouse status through the account order or warehouse area before submitting international shipping.
Kakobuy's inspection rules describe the normal inspection scope as visible checks such as style, quantity, color, size, model, exterior information and obvious product condition. The same rules say sealed packages and sealed non-clothing, non-bag, non-shoe products are not opened for inner inspection, and that electronics, digital products and electronic accessories are outside normal inspection for authenticity, function and professional quality.
How to submit the parcel
Once the item is in the warehouse and the QC result is acceptable, the official guide sends buyers to My Warehouse to fill the shipping address, choose the logistics method and pay international shipping, customs clearance fees and other applicable fees. Optional services can include unpacking, reinforcement, label removal and insurance, depending on what the buyer selects.
Kakobuy says it provides 100 days of free warehouse storage, which lets buyers ship multiple items together. That does not mean every item should be combined. Shoes with boxes, heavy jackets, bags, fragile goods, electronics, batteries, sealed products and repeated identical products should be reviewed for route restrictions, weight, volume, customs risk and whether the product is still worth shipping.
Manual order checklist
- Use direct link search first for Taobao, Tmall, JD and 1688 when the product imports correctly.
- Use image search when you have a product photo but not a reliable seller link.
- Use manual order for Weidian, WeChat seller, Xianyu, Yupoo and sources that do not import cleanly.
- Write color, size, version, quantity, seller note and domestic shipping detail clearly.
- Check 1688 minimum order quantity before paying.
- Expect Kakobuy order review after payment, then domestic seller shipment to the warehouse.
- Review QC photos before international parcel submission.
- Do not treat sealed goods, electronics or authenticity-sensitive items as fully verified by normal QC.
- Choose the international route only after warehouse arrival, real item checks, weight, dimensions and restrictions are clearer.
